Virtual Reality Simulators for Education

Description

The Institut La Bastida in Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona) has made a strong commitment to integrating Virtual Reality into student learning. The center has successfully implemented our First Aid, Occupational Safety and Job Interview simulators across different study programmes, bringing immersive training into everyday teaching practice.

As Jordi Sora i Domenjó, the headmaster, explains: “Training young people means understanding that they will live in a different time from their teachers, including the technologies they will use in their professional lives. Virtual Reality and simulations are likely to become standard tools in the coming years, so we need to bring teaching closer to this new paradigm, one based on proximity to reality.”
