On June 21st and 22nd, Innovae took part in Overfly Forum, an event organized by Grupo Álava on the occasion of its 50th anniversary that was focused on digital and technological transformation in the industry.
Innovae was present at the ‘Smart Industry’ Tech Corner with a stand where professionals from all sectors came to learn about how we apply Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in the industry. Additionally, thanks to one of our multi-user rooms, many of them were able to experience firsthand how our products enable team training in collaborative tasks.
In addition to the exhibition area, Overfly Forum featured a comprehensive cycle of innovation conferences. Among them, attendees had the opportunity to listen to the presentation by Pablo Ayala, CEO of Innovae, titled ‘Virtual Reality: The Key to Effective Industrial Training’. In it, Ayala introduced SAVI, an LMS based on Virtual Reality simulators, which allows workers to practice operations in a realistic environment.
During the presentation, the success case of Nippon Gases for training tanker truck drivers in liquefied gas transfer was showcased. “It is a process of significant complexity that entails certain risks if not executed correctly,” Ayala emphasized, so “the design of a virtual environment to practice this process has contributed to improving the training of drivers and has led to a significant cost reduction for the company.”
The congress, attended by over 500 participants, also included entertainment activities, providing leisure moments and opportunities for conversation to promote networking among speakers, exhibitors, and participants.
Innovae and Grupo Álava have been partners since the beginning of last year thanks to a strategic agreement aimed at offering the largest ecosystem of process digitization solutions for Industry 4.0.
