CIFP Tolosaldea has embraced the digitalization of operations and the use of Augmented Reality to enhance hands-on instruction. Through the SAAM platform, the center has been able to structure and guide training processes directly within the workshop environment, increasing student autonomy, optimizing work time, and reducing errors during task execution. All of this contributes to safer, more efficient learning that is aligned with industrial reality.
The center has digitalized maintenance and operation processes for conventional machinery including lathes, milling machines, and drill presses. Students can execute these digitalized procedures either through Augmented Reality glasses, which enable hands-free operation, or via tablets adapting to different training contexts and classroom needs.
