Virtual Reality to experience the operation of a thermal power plant.

Description

Innovae has developed a Virtual Reality project for La Térmica Cultural, a space created and managed by the Ciudad de la Energía Foundation (CIUDEN) in Ponferrada.

Thanks to this solution, visitors can fly over the old Compostilla II thermal power plant, take control of its control panel, and start the boiler to initiate the energy production process. Additionally, they can experience the entire industrial process from the arrival of the coal shipment at the coal yard and explore the interior of the cooling tower, boiler room, and turbine hall.

The application simulates 3D scenarios where it is possible to interact with all the components to learn about their utility and operation.
