A virtual simulation <strong>allows real-life situations to be recreated and students&#8217; skills to be accurately assessed<\/strong>, while they have the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/universidadeuropea.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European University of Madrid<\/a><strong> (UEM)<\/strong> has committed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.innovae.com\/en\/the-virtual-reality-technology\/\">Virtual Reality<\/a> to optimise the higher education of its students and, to this end, Innovae has <strong>developed a series of didactic resources<\/strong> aimed at different areas of study.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Thanks to the virtual capsules developed, UEM students have the opportunity to <strong>develop transversal and specific competences<\/strong>, such as critical reasoning or decision-making, in completely safe and immersive environments.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=&#8221;container&#8221; padding_top=&#8221;&#8221; padding_bottom=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Training capsules for the UEM&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h2|font_size:36px|text_align:left|color:%23d50057&#8243; google_fonts=&#8221;font_family:Lato%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:700%20bold%20regular%3A700%3Anormal&#8221;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Medical Area&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h2|font_size:22px|text_align:left|color:%2320132c&#8221; google_fonts=&#8221;font_family:Lato%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:700%20bold%20regular%3A700%3Anormal&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;83251&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]We have developed a total of three immersive capsules aimed at training medical and health university students that <strong>promote good practice in patient safety<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The experiences offer a tiered training program, adapting to the level of complexity depending on the course, and the situations recreated are varied, going through medical challenges in relation to children, adults and elders.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;83259&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]Thanks to these training capsules, students put their <strong>decision-making and problem-solving skills into practice<\/strong>. UEM students can apply their knowledge in a virtual crime scene, designed with <strong>interactive elements that students must analyse<\/strong> to solve the case.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Through this project, criminology training takes on a practical character, allowing students to be put to the test in a realistic environment.
